You may not have had counselling or therapy before and may be daunted to take the first step, a brief chat with me will put your mind at ease. Therapy sessions are 50 minutes, once or twice a week. Some people attend sessions for as little as six or eight weeks, others may feel they need further support and may want to stay in therapy for a few months or longer. It depends on you. If at any time you want to end therapy, we will work to a speedy conclusion.
During a preliminary consultation we speak about your needs and informally talk about whatever you need or want.. During therapy some people discuss the problems they presently have, others may feel that there is something that has been troubling them for longer. I work with people of all ages and across the spectrum of problems. I am available to respond to any questions or queries you may have.
